Job summary

Allied Orion Group is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Austin, TX to support Community Manager in overseeing property operations, leasing, marketing, and resident relations. You will participate in all financial and accounting aspects while supervising onsite staff in the Community Manager's absence.

The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of Fair Housing and local regulations, and proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in multi-family property management.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, OSHA, EEOC, and local ordinances preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
  • Supervisory skills to manage team in Community Manager’s absence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Community Manager with overall property management including leasing, marketing and resident relations.
  • Process payments and track delinquency; issue late notices and apply charges as policy.
  • Handle NSF/returned checks and collections; manage evictions through the judicial process where applicable.
  • Prepare final account statements and coordinate with appropriate agencies for collections.
  • In the Community Manager’s absence, assume duties and authority per guidelines.
  • Oversee on-site staff and coordinate multi-family leasing, marketing, and resident relations.

Summary:The Assistant Community manager serves as the strength and support of the property by assisting the Community Manager in administering and supervising the overall management of the property. The role of the Assistant Community Manager will include all functions related to multi-family property leasing, all functions related to multi-family property marketing, and all functions related to multi-family resident relationsJOB SUMMARYAssists the Community Manager with the overall management of the property, including but not limited to all financial and accounting aspects.REPORTS TO: Community Manager, Regional Property Supervisor and/or Regional Vice PresidentSUPERVISES: Entire onsite staff during Community Manager’s absence.Essential Functions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
