Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to support planning, execution, and oversight of testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects on the Midwest jobsite.

In this role, you will work closely with the Commissioning Manager and technical subject‑matter experts to ensure all systems and components are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with project requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of power systems, inverters, transformers, and infrastructure.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project commissioning team and provide guidance.
• Report daily status to the Commissioning Manager.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers on testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, NFPA/NEC, and environmental regs.
• Prepare daily commissioning reports and track issues.
