Job summary

SOLV Energy in the United States is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to oversee testing and commissioning of HV, BESS, and PV projects. You will collaborate with the Commissioning Manager and SMEs to ensure systems are installed, tested, and commissioned safely and to specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective execution of tasks.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager, the status of each project assigned.
• Review technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements related to commissioning and assist with development of project milestones and plans.
• Communicate with OEM suppliers regarding equipment-specific testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA teams to align commissioning activities.
• Develop integrated testing and commissioning schedules and keep them updated weekly.
