SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks an Assistant Commissioning Manager to oversee testing and commissioning for HV, BESS and PV projects nationwide. The role is full-time on-site in the Midwest with travel required, ensuring safe, compliant, and fully operable renewable assets.

You will lead commissioning teams, coordinate with engineering, construction and QA, develop commissioning plans and schedules, and deliver daily reports and milestone reviews from pre-commissioning through project closeout.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and commissioning on utility scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with safety and regulatory compliance awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the project commissioning team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective execution of tasks.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager, the status of each project assigned.
• Review technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements related to commissioning and assist with the development of a project milestone and deliverables list, project specific commissioning plan, and commissioning procedures.
• Coordinate with project teams, including engineering, construction, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment in all commissioning activities.
• Develop integrated testing and commissioning schedules and ensure weekly updates.
• Develop the commissioning resource plan for the project and review energization procedures as needed.
• Identify, analyze, and recommend corrective actions to resolve technical issues identified during commissioning or initial operation.
