Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field and managerial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with five years of relevant experience, including supervisory duties.
• Strong knowledge of NYC building and construction codes and housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical expertise to manage a large portfolio of affordable housing projects from construction to closeout.
• Oversee a large team of architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
• Guide teams to meet agency goals and develop productivity measures.
• Collaborate with senior teams to address technical and policy matters in construction.
• Apply best practices to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, sustainable housing production.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve impediments to project completion.
• Work with developers, architects, and contractors to resolve construction issues.
