Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar seeks an Assistant Colorist to support Licensed Colorists and the Shift Lead from guest arrival to departure. You’ll learn services, assist with consultations, and help guests choose the best color while performing shampooing, conditioning, and related tasks.

You’ll be in training for promotion to Licensed Colorist in 3–9 months; the role is offered full- or part-time depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state where applying.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail; salon/beauty industry preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities; strong people skills.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and develop teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with company values.
• Assist in finishing services, shampooing, conditioning, styling, blowouts, and other services per guest request.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals including retail, services, and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness and merchandising standards in the Hair Color Bar and protect assets.
• Follow Madison Reed policies, processes, and procedures.
• Increase revenue by promoting services, memberships, and home care products.
