Job summary

County College of Morris (CCM) is seeking an Assistant Coach, Softball - Tier 2 to support the Head Coach in all aspects of team preparation, practice organization, and game-day operations. The role involves coordinating pre-season training, supervising players, and contributing to evaluation and post-season planning.

This is a part-time position with weekend and some overnight commitments, including possible national tournaments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience with competitive playing or coaching experience, college-level preferred.
• Prefer coaching experience at the high school level or above.
• Entry-level understanding of modern coaching methods.
• Defensive driving course and 15-passenger van safety course required upon acceptance of position.
• Must be able to operate a 15-passenger van for away contests and in some cases home contests off-site.
• DMV and criminal history background check required.
• Must hold current AED and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Other duties as specified by Athletic Director.

Work Hours
