Sweetgreen in Miami is seeking an Assistant Coach (Assistant General Manager) to lead the store, mentor the team, and partner with the Head Coach to set goals and drive performance.

You will focus on guest experiences, food safety, staffing, scheduling, and using data from the Ops Dashboard to implement short- and long-term strategies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role.
• Experience managing and developing 6+ team members per shift.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and partner with Head Coach on hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Uphold high standards for food safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure a clean, hospitable guest journey aligned with SWEET standards.
• Manage controllable costs, schedules, and drive sales with data-driven insights.
• Support daily operations and issue resolution for smooth execution.
• Perform essential duties from Shift Leader up through Kitchen Lead responsibilities.
