Responsibilities

• Collaborate with head coach to plan and implement organized daily practice plans.
• Suggest adaptations to coaching techniques, strategies, and game plans.
• Promote positive public relations with parents and the community.
• Foster an atmosphere of good sportsmanship and player conduct.
• Assist in game preparation, strategy, and player motivation.
• Comply with HAC, DIAA, and school district policies.
• Communicate pre-, post-, and in-season information to players, parents, and school officials.
• Maintain and inventory equipment and uniforms.
• Monitor and evaluate athletes' academic performance.
• Recommend equipment, supplies, and uniforms purchases.
• Oversee safety of the facility or area in which the sport is conducted.
• Perform other duties as assigned related to this position.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Works collaboratively with head coach to plans and implement organized daily practice plans
• Suggests adaptations and modifications to coaching techniques, strategies and game plans.
• Promotes and maintains positive public relations with parents and the community.
• Helps to provide an atmosphere conducive to good sportsmanship and player conduct.
• Supports in preparation for each game in strategy and player motivation.
• Complies with all HAC, DIAA, and school district policies
• Aids in communication of pre, post and in season information to players, parents, and school officials.
• Helps to maintain and inventory all equipment and uniforms.
• Monitors and evaluates academic performance of all athletes.
• Assists in recommending purchase of equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
• Assists in overseeing the safety of the facility or area in which assigned sport is conducted.
• Performs other duties as assigned that relate to this position.

Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation of professional personnel.
