Genesis Health Clubs in West Des Moines, IA, seeks an Assistant Club Manager to create exceptional experiences for our members and staff. You will help manage day-to-day operations, memberships, services, promotions, facilities, and personnel to drive revenue and growth.

You are a process-oriented leader who motivates others, loves health and fitness, and aims to help members live healthy lifestyles and achieve personal goals. This role offers room for advancement in a dynamic club environment.

Qualifications

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Sales experience a plus.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
CPR certification required.
Industry fitness experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Help maintain gym operational budget
Assist with membership sales and promotions
Build long-term member and vendor relationships
Provide a high-level of customer service to all members and effectively resolve issues
Ensure gym systems and processes are followed
Assist in the hiring, training, and scheduling of gym staff
Enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring facility is clean and safe
