Houston Fitness Partners is hiring an Assistant Club Manager for a Planet Fitness location. The role offers hourly pay of $17.65/hour and involves leading front desk operations, staff oversight, and guest services to maintain a welcoming gym environment.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Exceptional leadership, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
• Strong problem resolution skills, hardworking, enthusiastic, and energetic!
• Must be 18 years of age or older; high school diploma or GED preferred; ability to pass background check; CPR/AED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high performing staff.
• Lead by example and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests.
• Resolve member concerns in a fair and equitable manner.
• Assist with staff management and provide support to Club Manager with reporting and inventory.
• Administer and enforce company policies and procedures with staff and members.
• Handle front desk duties including answering phones, member sign-ups, and tours.
• Facilitate member requests and ensure timely equipment repair communication.
• Ensure opening/closing of the gym following proper protocols; oversee facility cleanliness and safety.
