Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Clinical Director in Worcester, MA to oversee 24-hour clinical operations under the Clinical Director, while guiding a team of clinicians to deliver high-quality care. The role emphasizes leadership, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance within a behavioral health setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a related field and an active state license, with a minimum of two years in mental health.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social or behavioral health field is required.
• Independently licensed in the state of practice (e.g., LICSW, LMHC, LCDC-I).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the mental health field.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour management of all clinical functions of the facility with the Clinical Director.
• Lead and mentor clinical staff, ensure compliance with standards and program curriculum.
• Audit documentation for compliance with company policy, state regulations and accrediting standards.
• Oversee clinical programming and therapy services, including individual, group, and family therapy notes.
• Monitor metrics and provide feedback to staff to improve performance and compliance.
• Recruit, hire, and develop the clinical team; lead clinical staff meetings.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and a therapeutic environment for clients and staff.
