The Assistant Clinical Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with physicians and care providers to coordinate daily patient care activities, ensuring that patient goals are met successfully. The position involves working with patients, physicians, and support staff. The Assistant Clinical Coordinator performs various clerical duties, such as updating and organizing information on nursing units, coordinating work with other units and departments, and responding to inquiries and requests from staff and personnel.
Education
This is a patient-facing position. The ACC is an entry-level position, though past clinic experience is helpful. Applicants must be very comfortable with computers and be able to use/adapt to EMR and other jail programs. They are primary for our phones, coordinate patient movement to/from the clinic while maintaining safety and security, and get vital signs on patients and provide stand-ins for providers as needed. Must be able to work off of multiple task lists.
