Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in civil engineering with 1 year of civil engineering experience.
• Civil engineering technology degree with 3 years of civil engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus master's degree in civil engineering is acceptable.
• Professional Engineer license required for higher-level assignments.
• Experience with contract oversight and project planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer maintenance and repair contracts and prepare new contracts.
• On-site inspections to ensure contractor compliance and address issues.
• Coordinate between NYCT divisions and city/state agencies.
• Monitor vendor performance and manage change orders.
• Support budgeting, planning, and invoice processing activities.
