Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in New York invites applications for the Transit Management Analyst Series. The selected candidate will oversee design and construction of capital contracts for rapid transit assets and coordinate reviews with multiple engineering disciplines.

Based in the MOW Engineering division, the role reports to the Assistant Chief Engineering Officer and supports keeping NYCT systems operational during construction through design and progress meetings across

Qualifications

Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant budget/engineering/analysis work.
Experience in budget administration or capital project management is preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

Oversee design and construction of capital contracts for rapid transit assets.
Coordinate design reviews for elevators, escalators, plumbing and utilities.
Monitor progress of Capital Contracts in Design/Construction and ensure constructibility.
Provide inspection, testing, and contractor coordination to keep NYCT systems operational during construction.
