Job summary

Ascension in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Director of Operations to lead hospital-wide operational strategy and execution at Ascension St. John Medical Center. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, improving services, and managing expenses while ensuring high-quality patient care.

We seek an experienced leader with 7 years in relevant roles, including 4 in leadership, and a path toward transforming operational performance. A MBA is preferred; on-site leadership is required at the Tulsa campus.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable experience, 4 years in leadership/management.
• MBA or Masters degree preferred.
• Prior experience as a multi-service line leader or Director of Operations in a hospital setting.

• Engage and assemble stakeholders to drive revenue, services growth, expenses, margin control and financial goals.
• Attract, recruit and retain talent to support high-quality care and consumer experience.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to execute business strategies improving performance metrics.
• Use data-driven approaches to allocate resources and elevate operations, clinical information and staffing.

Education

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management.

What Additional Preferences We’re Seeking

• MBA or Masters degree preferred
• Prior experience as a multi service line leader or Director of Operations in a hospital setting
