Job summary

Ascension in Tulsa, OK seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible physician to join an employed Surgery/Outpatient practice at St. John Medical Center. The role requires MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority, licensure and DEA registration, with CME support and opportunities within a robust health system.

Qualifications

• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision required.

Responsibilities

• Join an established team of physicians and APPs in the Tulsa metro.
• Practice setting: Surgery/Outpatient.
• Evaluate and treat patients within your assigned clinical area, utilizing advanced diagnostic and treatment skills to ensure the highest standards of medical excellence.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and advocate for patients by managing the medical appeal process when necessary.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
