Job summary
Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection in Fairhope, AL, seeks an experienced Assistant Chief Engineer to support the Chief Engineer in daily resort operations. You’ll lead engineering teams, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure guest-ready systems.
Responsibilities include overseeing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life-safety systems, and utilities while upholding safety, budget, and guest satisfaction. On-site role with hands-on leadership, ready to elevate the Grand Life.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have hands-on leadership experience overseeing maintenance teams.
- Experience with hotel or resort facilities preferred.
- Must be able to meet physical demands on-site.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Engineering operations in absence of Chief Engineer.
- Coordinate maintenance priorities across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems.
- Lead training and safety adherence per OSHA and codes.
- Respond to guest-related maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist with budget, inventory, and capital projects.
