Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Director to help lead centers with our world-class curriculum and accreditation processes. You will educate parents, teachers, and leaders on the value of early childhood education and bring that value to life for children in your center.

You will collaborate with Center Directors to guide staff, support families, and achieve enrollment and operational objectives while ensuring high-quality care across classrooms and communities.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and driver.
