We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Assistant Business Office Manager (ABOM) to join our skilled nursing facility team. Responsibilities:
Assist with the daily operations of the Business Office
Support billing, accounts receivable, and resident account functions
Assist with insurance verification and eligibility
Maintain accurate resident financial records and documentation
Assist residents and families with billing and financial questions
Communicate with insurance companies, vendors, residents, and families
Assist with collections and follow-up on outstanding balances
Maintain confidentiality of resident and financial information
Support the Business Office Manager with administrative tasks and special projects
Ensure office procedures are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Previous experience in a business office, healthcare, long-term care, or related setting preferred
Billing experience required
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems
Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team
Experience with medical billing, insurance, or accounts receivable is a plus
