Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Looking for a qualified Assistant Business Office Manager to join our family!

We are seeking an Assistant Business Office Manager to join our community that is resident and family focused, a team builder, and excited about building a positive culture.

Experience at a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.

Major Responsibilities
  • Record daily cash receipts and deposit to appropriate accounts.
  • Prepare deposits and post entries in the accounting system.
  • Communicate with residents, families, and others responsible for payment, keeping them informed about account status.
  • Analyze account activity and prepare interest calculations and reports.
  • Generate billing for payor classes and submit claims timely.
  • Produce UB92 forms for Medicare and contract residents, including Medicare demand billings.
  • Complete month-end close processes promptly.
  • Maintain current provider/pay status in AFA.
  • Follow reporting procedures to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Implement innovative ideas to improve systems and achieve better results.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year degree preferred.
  • At least three years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Healthcare accounting experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to quality work.
