Regional Assistant General Operations Manager position is in Dania Beach, FL.

You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

  1. Manage multiple operations at once
  2. Build relationships at multiple levels to work cross organizationally toward solutions and excellent leadership and consensus building skills
  3. Drive home delivery KPI’s and partner with 3PL management to ensure WSI’s standards are being met
  4. Own all facets of P&L management, staffing & supply orders
  5. Track and maintain daily KPI reporting to ensure the site is within compliance
  6. Address and resolve customer escalation issues in a timely manner
  7. Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost control, service, inventory accuracy, housekeeping, and safety
  8. Achieve efficiency and production objectives consistent with quality requirements
  9. Motivate a team to work together in the most efficient manner
  10. Manage projects under aggressive time and dollar constraints
  11. Operate in a manner that ensures peak productivity and corporate profitability
  12. Manage and develop systems, processes, and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy
  13. Proficient in WMS systems and how they relate to inventory control and accuracy
  14. Work with outside support functions on coaching, recruiting, safety and service to enhance facility’s performance. Support People First initiatives to provide a positive work environment for associates
  15. Support network wide initiatives of continuous improvements and showroom quality deliveries

Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
  2. At least 5 years of management experience with a progressive track record of increasing responsibility in white glove home delivery or furniture/ final mile distribution experience
  3. Willingness to travel up to 60% (based on business needs)
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to form relationships and work successfully with associates, managers, and cross functional teams across the organization
  5. Willingness to take calculated risks
  6. Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgement in stressful situations
  7. Demonstrate ability to think both strategically and tactically
  8. Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive
  9. Self-motivated individual who can set and meet simultaneous short-and-long term goals

We prefer some of these qualities as well….
  1. Master’s Degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  2. Bilingual in Spanish
  3. Solid understanding of Safety and OSHA standards
  4. Exceptional organizational and time management skills to successfully respond to urgent situations.
  5. Six Sigma/lean experience preferably in a distribution/warehouse environment

  3. Willingness to travel up to 60%
