Central Arkansas Library System is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager / Youth Programmer for Maumelle Library. The role combines management duties with youth programming, including storytime, crafts, and after-school activities, within a public library setting.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with a schedule that includes weekday evenings and some weekends; candidates should be outgoing, creative, and enjoy working with children and teens.

Qualifications

• Ability to model excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience planning activities for children, teens and families.
• Leadership or supervision experience in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with scheduling, supervision and staff development.
• Provide instruction and instructional assistance in a public library environment.
• Plan and run activities for children, teens and families both inside the library and in the community.
