The Central Arkansas Library System is in search of an outgoing, public service oriented professional to lead and coordinate activities for a diverse adult audience at the Max Milam Library (609 Aplin Ave, Perryville, AR 72126). This Adult Programmer position will be a 40-hour per week full-time public service position with responsibilities to include planning and actively carrying out a variety of activities for adults both inside the library and out in the community, designing printed and digital materials and promotions, and developing partnerships with other community organizations. This position also has public service duties, which include working the front desk, answering patron questions, information searching, technology assistance, and shelving. Must be able to work some Saturdays and some Tuesday evenings until 8:00 p.m. Excellent communication, technology, and customer service skills are required. Salary starts at $16.47 per hour and includes excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision, company paid retirement, life insurance, paid time off, paid parental leave, and holiday pay.
