Your Role

Our Assistant Branch Manager position offers job training and mentorship for your next career step: a B2B Sales Branch Manager at one of our 46 nationwide rental facilities. After a pay increase and relocation, you will manage larger clients within an expanded sales territory, earn uncapped bonuses, and oversee P&L for your branch. We promote from within, providing opportunities for career growth!

As an Assistant Branch Manager in outside sales, your typical day includes:

• Serving B2B customers like PepsiCo and FedEx, assessing their equipment needs, and explaining trailer-rental options.
• Using a consultative sales approach to prospect, build relationships, and close rental, lease, and sales transactions.
• Managing customer accounts, including credit and collections.
• Tracking leads and data using a sales system, performing inventories, managing metrics, and handling administrative tasks.
• Training for your future role as an Outside Sales Branch Manager, responsible for P&L at your branch.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of B2B sales experience
• Territory management or supervision (preferred)
• Willing to relocate for promotion to Outside Sales Branch Management within 1-2 years (relocation assistance provided)

OTE of $80,000-$90,000 for first-year ABM, with increases in base pay, uncapped commissions, and bonuses upon promotion (typically within 1-2 years).

Base Salary: Up to $55,000/year

Additional Pay: Vehicle allowance ($675/month), bonus pay (up to $30,000 first-year), commissions, referral bonuses, relocation assistance, and tuition reimbursement.

Our Assistant Branch Managers receive a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k). You can also earn commission-based pay for equipment sales and uncapped bonuses based on branch performance after promotion. XTRA Lease offers Tuition Assistance (up to $7k/year) for higher education.
