Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products, seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, safety culture, and compliance in a dynamic environment. You will optimize warehouse layouts, manage schedules, and support staff to deliver exceptional customer service.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to safety and audit procedures, and ongoing staff development within a growing organization. A strong operations background in building materials is preferred.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or related experience.
• Operational experience in building materials, construction, or related industry preferred.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Experience in supervising and leading others.
• Knowledge and experience in exterior logistics.
• Commitment to continuous learning, growth, and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assume branch manager responsibilities in their absence, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Champion a safety-oriented culture and ensure safety protocol compliance.
• Ensure compliance with audit procedures and daily cash handling.
• Optimize warehouse/store layout for efficiency and schedule equipment maintenance.
• Create and update work schedules; review hours worked by employees.
• Provide training and support to branch employees, cultivating a customer-centric approach.
