Job summary

Firelands Federal Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in New London, OH to lead and mentor teammates while delivering outstanding member service. You’ll work with the Branch Manager to drive daily operations and growth for the branch in a community-focused environment.

The role emphasizes coaching, relationship building, and creating a positive, collaborative work culture. A leadership mindset and prior supervisory experience are desired to help employees succeed and members meet

Qualifications

• Experience in financial institution leadership or supervisory roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach and develop staff to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager with daily operations and branch success.
• Coach, develop, and support employees to grow and succeed.
• Provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and guidance to team members.
• Help create a positive, collaborative, and engaging work environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with members and identify financial solutions.
• Lead by example in delivering an exceptional member experience.
• Assist with branch goals, performance expectations, staffing, scheduling, and operational needs.
• Support training and development of new and existing employees.
• Ensure branch activities follow Credit Union policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Step in to support the Branch Manager and team wherever needed.
