Job summary

Trustco Bank in Orlando, FL is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager I to support the Branch Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, and delivering exceptional customer service at the Dean Road location.

In this role you will oversee daily operations, supervise tellers, promote sales initiatives, and ensure security and regulatory compliance while building a welcoming community-focused banking experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven supervisory and leadership experience.
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented with collaborative approach.
• Ability to lift 10–20 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: act as Branch Manager in their absence and oversee daily operations.
• Team Supervision: manage Head Teller and Teller teams.
• Branch Branding & Growth: promote sales initiatives and customer service excellence.
• Customer Engagement: connect with clients, resolve issues, ensure satisfaction.
• Compliance & Accuracy: review transactions and uphold policies.
• Performance & Standards: meet branch metrics, ensure security and regulatory compliance.
• Professional Development: pursue ongoing training and development.
