Job summary

WaFd Bank in Chelan, WA is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in daily operations, drive sales performance, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will assist with staff leadership, compliance, and achieving branch goals while fostering a welcoming, efficient banking environment. You’ll serve as a leader in the absence of the Branch Manager and help staff grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or approved equivalent; five years minimum experience in a financial institution; strong math skills, 10-key and keyboarding, standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI, and Outlook.
• Experience in banking with sales or client relations; prior supervisory or Personal Banker experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong written and verbal communication; valid driver’s license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
• Drive sales performance and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Lead staff and ensure operational compliance and achievement of branch goals.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming, efficient banking environment and act as leader in the Branch Manager’s absence.
