Job summary

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Austin, TX to support the Branch Manager in daily operations, sales performance, and customer service excellence.

You will lead and develop employees, drive efficiency, and help achieve branch goals while maintaining safety and a productive workplace.

The role collaborates across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance to grow revenue, improve processes, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred in business, management, operations, sales, or related field.
• 3+ years in leadership, supervisory, sales, operations, or customer service roles.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Experience supporting sales initiatives and achieving performance goals.
• Knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, or building materials operations preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Coach, train, and develop branch employees for high performance.
• Foster a positive, teamwork-oriented work environment.
• Help set and monitor branch sales and profitability goals.
• Assist business development to attract new customers and strengthen relationships.
• Monitor sales activities and help implement revenue-growth strategies.
• Address customer inquiries and service issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Support inventory management and ensure product availability.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive work environment.
• Support branch reporting, documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Analyze branch performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, Finance, and other departments.
• Assist with cash management, security, and asset protection as needed.
• Serve as acting branch leader in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
