Qualifications

• Notary public certification required within 6 months.
• Minimum 5 years' banking and/or management experience.
• Office software proficiency (PC, Internet, e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets).
• Knowledge of applicable regulations (BSA, Reg CC, DD, E) and bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Supervise Head Teller and Customer Service staff and promote service quality.
• Make procedural decisions, interpret bank policy, and consult with Branch Manager as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products to provide appropriate solutions to customers' financial needs.
• Support business development through in-branch sales and client outreach.
• Handle overdraft decisions and review loan requests within authority.
• Ensure branch security and regulatory compliance, including BSA/CTR/SAR reporting.
• Assist in scheduling, recruiting, training, and mentoring staff.
• Represent the branch in community activities; be ready to fill in on platform/teller.
