Joel Barlow High School in Connecticut is seeking an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for the upcoming season to work with the head coach in developing student-athletes on and off the court. The ideal candidate will have a coaching background, strong basketball knowledge, and a commitment to a positive, inclusive team culture.

The role requires evening and weekend availability, and CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching high school or collegiate basketball.
• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, strategies, and rules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate student-athletes and foster inclusion in a positive team environment.
• Available evenings and weekends during the basketball season.
• Must pass a background check per district policy.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités
