• Previous experience in competitive swimming, coaching, or related field preferred.

• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to the start of the season).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the swim schedule.
• A commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes.
• Familiarity with the rules and regulations of high school swimming competitions.

• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration regarding team activities, schedules, and expectations.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect among athletes both in and out of the pool.
• Assist in the recruitment and retention of team members.
• Uphold and enforce all school and athletic department policies and regulations.
