Job summary

Sheppard Pratt School in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking a dedicated professional to support behavior interventions for students aged 5 to 21. Under a licensed behavior analyst, you will implement BIPs, collect data, and assist in FBAs with ongoing progress monitoring.

Responsibilities include developing intervention plans, training caregivers and staff, participating in team conferences, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team focused on student success and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1 year related experience, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle per requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Collect and accurately record data on client behavior during intervention sessions.
  • Assist in conducting FBAs and ongoing assessments to monitor progress.

Sheppard Pratt School in Hunt Valley is a nonpublic special education day school providing educational, therapeutic, and daily living services to students ages 5 to 21. What to expect.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst to implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and provide support to students with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Collecting and accurately recording data on client behavior during intervention sessions.
  • Assisting in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and ongoing assessments to monitor progress.

What we need from you.
  • One of the following combinations of education and experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year of related experience.
    • Associate degree and 2 years of related experience.
    • High school degree or GED and 4 years of related experience.
  • Must meet Sheppard Pratt's requirements to operate a company vehicle:
    • Be 18 years old with at least 2 years of driving experience.
    • Have a valid driver's license.
    • Driving record with 2 points or less for the most 3 recent years of driving history.
