Job summary

Sheppard Pratt School in Hunt Valley, MD, is seeking a dedicated professional to support behavior intervention plans under a licensed behavior analyst. You will implement plans, collect data, and support students with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized intervention plans (BIPs), recording client behavior data, assisting with FBAs, and training caregivers and staff on behavior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination.
  • Associate degree with 2 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Record data on client behavior during intervention sessions.

Sheppard Pratt School in Hunt Valley is a nonpublic special education day school providing educational, therapeutic, and daily living services to students ages 5 to 21. Our tailored programs cater to students with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, and other health impairments, ensuring each student receives the support they need to thrive. What to expect.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst to implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and provide support to students with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.

Specific responsibilities include:

What we need from you.

  • One of the following combinations of education and experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year of related experience.
    • Associate degree and 2 years of related experience.
    • High school degree or GED and 4 years of related experience.
  • Must meet Sheppard Pratt's requirements to operate a company vehicle:
    • Be 18 years old with at least 2 years of driving experience.
    • Have a valid driver's license.
    • Driving record with 2 points or less for the most 3 recent years of driving history.
