Nothing Bundt Cakes in New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead guest experience, cake production, brand presentation and team performance. You will recruit, train, schedule staff, balance cash and help ensure food safety and store profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or foodservice with progressive responsibilities.
• Proven ability to coach others, train new team members and reach productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook and comfort with new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes guest experience, models engagement and fosters a positive work environment.
• Partners with Bakery Manager in leading all aspects of guest experience, cake production and merchandising.
• Supports recruiting, selecting, and training team members, directing daily work and giving feedback.
• Ensures product, service, bakery standards and health safety compliance.
• Assists with scheduling, supply ordering, payroll processing and basic accounting.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment and large orders for guests and corporate accounts.
