Overview of Responsibilities

As an Assistant Bakery Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, you will provide excellent customer satisfaction through managing Bakery Clerks and assisting the Bakery Manager in daily bakery operations.

• Assist in managing and merchandising for productivity and profit
• Oversee ordering, inventory, product quality, and team supervision
• Rotate merchandise and build displays
• Monitor incoming deliveries for damages
• Ensure excellent customer service and product quality
• Handle store deliveries and maintain deli equipment
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ensure team compliance
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old with 2+ years retail grocery and supervisory experience
• Dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, good communication skills
• Ability to answer phones, take orders, perform housekeeping, operate equipment
• Stand for up to 3 hours continuously; lift and transfer items up to 40 lbs.; work up to 10 hours per shift
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards; maintain Food Handlers permit
