Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, hourly position serving as a key holder and manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsible for assisting in store operations to meet service standards and profitability goals, ensuring exceptional guest service, and supporting team management.

Responsibilities include:

1. Scheduling guest appointments to optimize technician efficiency.
2. Helping achieve sales goals through product recommendations and promotions.
3. Attending to guest needs and building customer loyalty.
4. Assisting technicians with vehicle repair communication.
5. Maintaining store cleanliness and readiness.
6. Managing inventory and overseeing parts and tire stocking.
7. Providing guidance to technicians and organizing workflow.
8. Adhering to safety and company policies.
9. Performing store manager functions as needed.
10. Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of automotive and sales experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work with hands overhead.
• Strong communication skills and basic math skills.
• Customer and team-oriented mindset.

Preferred:

• Automotive State Inspector License.
• ASE Certifications.
• Proven sales experience in automotive.
• Leadership experience.
