Job summary

The New England Revolution in Foxborough, MA is seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive medical care for MLS players, focusing on injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation, and return-to-play progression.

You'll collaborate with the Sports Medicine and Performance teams, manage clinical documentation, and support staff and fellows across training, matches, and travel, including education programs and compliance with HIPAA and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Athletic Training from accredited program.
• Board Certification as an Athletic Trainer (BOC) in good standing.
• Massachusetts Athletic Trainer license or ability to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive athletic training services for athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, emergency care, and clinical management.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation programs in collaboration with sports medicine leadership.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure privacy compliance.
• Coordinate medical care including physician appointments, imaging, referrals, and screenings.
• Cover athletic training during training, matches, travel, and events.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination for sports medicine.
• Oversee athletic training student and internship programs in collaboration with leadership.
• Support quality and safety by complying with MLS/club/privacy requirements and contributing to research.
