Job summary

Barry University's College of Health Promotions and Medical Sciences (CHPMS) seeks a dynamic, full-time faculty member for the graduate-level Physician Assistant program (Master of Clinical Medical Sciences). The role emphasizes teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activity within a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.

Ideal candidates will hold a PA or medical degree with Florida licensure, a master's degree, and a commitment to program and university service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or accredited allopathic/osteopathic medical program.
• Current, unrestricted Florida licensure as a PA, medical or osteopathic physician, or eligibility.
• Current NCCPA or physician board certification or eligibility.
• Master's degree required.
• An earned doctorate in a health-related field or in education preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• Prior faculty experience is preferred.

Summary

This position will be dedicated to our graduate-level Physician Assistant program (Master of Clinical Medical Sciences).
