Barry University’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences seeks a dynamic, full-time faculty member for the graduate-level Physician Assistant program. The position is in-person and emphasizes teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activity.

You will teach, advise, and support master's theses/projects, engage in service at multiple levels, and help coordinate clinical rotations for the program. A strong commitment to diversity and distance-learning support is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or accredited allopathic/osteopathic medical program.
• Current NCCPA or physician board certification.
• Current, unrestricted Florida licensure as a PA, medical or osteopathic physician (or eligibility).
• An earned doctorate in a health-related field or in education preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• Prior faculty experience is preferred.
• Experience with distance learning technology and working with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate-level courses in the physician assistant program.
• Provide student mentorship and advising, including master’s theses/projects.
