Job summary

Barry University’s College of Health Promotions and Medical Sciences seeks a dynamic, full-time faculty member for the graduate Physician Assistant program (Master of Clinical Medical Sciences). The position is 12 months and emphasizes teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activity.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited PA or medical degree, Florida licensure eligibility, NCCPA or board certification, and a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or accredited allopathic/osteopathic medical program.
• Current, unrestricted Florida licensure as a PA, medical or osteopathic physician, or eligibility.
• Current NCCPA or physician board certification or eligibility.
• Master's degree required. An earned doctorate in a health-related field or in education preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• Prior faculty experience is preferred.
