Barry University’s College of Health Promotions and Medical Sciences seeks a dynamic full-time Assistant/Associate Professor to join our graduate Physician Assistant program. The candidate will teach graduate-level courses, mentor students, and engage in scholarship while contributing to university service.

The position requires PA licensure (or medical license), NCCPA certification eligibility, and a master’s degree; a doctoral degree is preferred.

• Current, unrestricted Florida licensure as PA, medical or osteopathic physician, or eligibility.
• Current NCCPA or physician board certification or eligibility.
• Master’s degree required; Doctorate in health-related field or education preferred.

This position will be dedicated to our graduate-level Physician Assistant program (Master of Clinical Medical Sciences). # Essential Functions * Teach graduate-level courses in the physician assistant program.* Provide student mentorship and advising, including master’s theses/projects.* Engage in Program, College, and University service.* Engage in scholarship.# Qualifications/Requirements * Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or accredited allopathic/osteopathic medical program.* Current, unrestricted Florida licensure as a PA, medical or osteopathic physician, or eligibility.* Current NCCPA or physician board certification or eligibility.* Master’s degree required. An earned doctorate in a health-related field or in education preferred.* A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.* Prior faculty experience is preferred.
