The Division of Graduate and Professional Studies provides academic leadership and oversight of the College’s graduate and professional programs. GPS offers in-person, hybrid, and fully online master’s degrees, graduate certificates, and professional development in business, education, and experienced science programs. Our academic programs are designed to empower working professionals and recent graduates to expand their employment and career opportunities through rigorous, convenient, and flexible academic offerings. Faculty in the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies work within their respective graduate department and collaboratively with joint faculty and undergraduate colleagues in related undergraduate Departments.
Position Summary
Graduate Teacher Education at Stonehill College seeks an experienced, knowledgeable, and collaborative researcher to join our growing graduate teacher education department in the division of graduate and professional studies. The candidate will hold a faculty appointment and will have administrative, teaching, service, and scholarship responsibilities consistent with the mission of the department and the College.
The successful candidate will have a strong disciplinary background in the field of teacher education/teacher preparation with content expertise in math and/or science. Teaching responsibilities include three courses per semester with the potential for research release time, departmental and division service, research and professional development, and opportunities for leadership as Coordinator of Math/Science teacher licensure programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ph.D. or Ed.D. (Ed.D. must have a strong research agenda). Expertise in mathematics teacher education or teacher education/teacher preparation. A strong understanding of Massachusetts licensure is strongly preferred. Teaching experience in a PK-22 setting is strongly preferred.
