You will be supported by the HUB Great Plains regional office and HUB International corporate office with the opportunity to create your own entrepreneurial journey. Your job responsibilities as an Employee Benefits Sales Executive:

  • Conducting sales, service and solicitation of employee benefits business
  • Maximizing growth and client retention through superior customer service
  • Developing accounts and cross selling available products and services
  • Generating and pursuing new client opportunities
  • Presenting our services and solutions at prospect meetings
  • Bringing new business prospects to closure
  • Retaining clients by maintaining solid business-to-business relationships
  • Travel as necessary, with occasional overnight stays

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of previous sales experience preferred, ideally in B2B environments
  • Previous Employee Benefits experience a plus
  • Existing niche/industry connections or experience selling a plus (e.g., construction, healthcare)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • State Life and Health insurance license, or ability to obtain, required
  • Preference will be given to candidates with brokerage or insurance carrier account or sales experience
  • Preference given to those with existing insurance license and/or industry designations
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
  • Good listening skills and ability to determine clients’ needs efficiently
