Qualifications
- PhD in Neuroscience or closely related field; credentials must be obtained before start date.
- Research program in neuroscience with potential for large-scale informatics and AI methods.
- Experience in developing, establishing, or validating digital biomarkers using novel analytic approaches.
- Ability to establish an independent, funded research program and collaborate with departmental strengths.
Responsibilities
- Lead a tenure-track research program in neuroscience with AI and informatics emphasis.
- Mentor and supervise graduate students in the UNLV Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Ph.D. program.
- Teach in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine and contribute to curriculum and mentoring.
- Engage in grant writing, publication in high-impact journals, and service to the department.
