Job summary

The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV invites applications for a Neurologist at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level in the Neurology Department. The successful candidate will provide clinical neurology care, participate in teaching, and develop an independent research program integrated with clinical duties.

Responsibilities include attending duties in neurology clinics and inpatient services at University Medical Center, mentoring medical students and residents, and contributing to

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree required and board-eligible or board-certified in Neurology.
• Residency from an ACGME-accredited program completed prior to employment.
• Fellowship training preferred.
• Must be eligible for a Nevada medical license and credentialing by affiliated hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Attend neurology clinics and inpatient services at University Medical Center as part of the neurology team.
• Teach medical students, residents, fellows and participate in continuing education for physicians and the public.
• Develop a research program integrated with clinical duties.
• Contribute to departmental teaching, mentorship and scholarly activity.
• Collaborate with other specialties in general neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders and neuromuscular diseases.
