Job summary

So Cal Training Team Media Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Administrator for an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) in California. This hands-on leadership role supports daily operations, staff supervision, training, and compliance, working directly with residents and Direct Support Professionals.

The candidate will manage scheduling, documentation, and incident reporting in a 24/7 residential setting.

Qualifications

• ARF leadership experience and ability to supervise staff
• Familiarity with Title 17 and Title 22 requirements a plus
• Strong documentation and reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and staffing needs for the ARF
• Supervise, coach, and hold DSP staff accountable
• Manage staff schedules and ensure appropriate coverage
• Assist Administrator with operational tasks and resident care
• Review and audit client files and progress notes
• Support residents with ADLs and independence goals
• Monitor P&I funds and maintain compliance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant home
• Assist with medical appointments and follow-up care
• Respond to incidents with proper reporting and follow-up
• Collaborate with residents and staff across shifts
• Adapt to different shifts based on home needs
• Perform other duties as assigned
