Inaba Foods (USA) Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage month-end close workflows, supervise accounting staff, and support our ERP transition in the U.S.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Torrance, CA, as required by leadership. The role offers an opportunity to influence financial processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Sales, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close and reconciliations.
• Experience supervising accounting staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day AP/AR operations, cash applications, and billing audits.
• Lead month-end close and posting of journal entries for accruals and reclasses.
• Supervise staff, approvals of expense reports and timecards in automated systems.
• Reconcile broker commissions and trade rebates across networks.
• Prepare audit-ready balance sheets and monthly financial statements under US GAAP.
• Support ERP transition from QuickBooks Desktop to Dynamics 365 BC.
