CJ America, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant Manager in Los Angeles to oversee the full-cycle close, ensure IFRS and US GAAP compliance, and coordinate audits. The role requires strong technical accounting skills and cross-functional coordination.

Reporting to the Director of Accounting & Tax, you will lead monthly and quarterly close activities, manage ERP costs centers, and support internal controls and governance across U.S. affiliates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years corporate accounting experience, multinational preferred.
• Strong IFRS and US GAAP knowledge.
• SAP experience including journal entries and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Review and approve SAP journal entries with proper documentation.
• Manage monthly and year-end close processes and reporting.
• Lead quarterly IFRS reporting and coordinate with headquarters.
• Coordinate external audits and ICFR-related activities.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for external reporting.
• Maintain cost centers in ERP and oversee SAP Concur.
• Support ICFR program and internal control governance.
